Deactivating a firearm | Deactivate a firearm

We are often asked to deactivate firearms for various reasons, the main reason seems to be so the firearm can become a "wall hanger".

In order for us to deactivate a firearm in NZ, we require a letter from NZ Police, describing (in writing) what NZ Police would like us to do in order to deactivate the firearm to their standards, where the firearm will then be recognised as "deactivated".

Without this letter, we are unable to deactivate a firearm.
