Best for harris bipods with "spring loaded extending legs" as the spikes are easily fitted. Harris bipods with "spring powered retractable legs" are more difficult to fit, however we can fit instore for an additional $20 if needed. You can fit yourself but they can be very difficult. An important aspect of shooting a rifle off a bipod is maintanence of good shoulder to butt stock pressure.

This is now made easy by using Pod-spikes in place of the rubber feet to dig into the ground & stop the rifle slipping forward While there is some debate about whether to pull back, neutral or push forward on a rifle stock my experience has totally convinced me that foward pressure on the weapon & on the bipod is essential for good grouping & weapon control

The stainless bipod spikes are machined from true stainless steel while the alumimium are machined from high tensile aluminium & retained by a stainless steel screw.

They are simple to fit to the legs simply remove the rubber pads, often easier to cut off with a sharp knife & punch the roll pin out & fit the pod-spike & do the screws up.

You are then straight away ready to use your bipod in almost any situation no matter how hard the ground is or even on concrete the spikes will dig in. Obviously not too good for shooting off car bonnets!!
